Why Join Us?
The Michigan Homeland Security Consortium (MIHSC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to driving the growth of the Homeland Security industry in the state of Michigan. MIHSC serves a targeted membership of Michigan-based developers and manufacturers of products and technologies specific to Homeland Security, as well as those companies, universities, and organizations affiliated with the industry.
The MIHSC is dedicated to serving its members and providing them with a wide range of benefits and services:
- Build the Homeland Security Industry in Michigan: Many prospective end-users assume they need to go to out-of-state providers for high-tech security products. The MIHSC website will provide information about the products and services provided by its members.
- Government Liaison: The MIHSC provides guidance to governmental units in bringing additional homeland security funding to Michigan.
- Networking with Members and Outside Parties: Since the MIHSC membership is highly targeted, meetings and events are typically attended by the executives of the member organizations. Consequently, members are able to collaborate to create new partnerships, find new customers and develop new products.
- Successful Events: MIHSC has had exceptionally well attended and featured prominent guest speakers.
